Create Your Booklets
Here you may select the desired type of binding for your printed product.
The binding determines how the individual pages are held together and can affect the appearance, durability, and handling of the finished product. Depending on the selected product, page count, and format, different binding options may be available. Choose the binding type that best suits your intended use and desired presentation.
Size is measured in inches (except for Banners).
Your artwork must be submitted in this size plus bleed. For more information please go to Bleed & Safe Area.
If your product includes folding, this is the size before folding.
Catalogs/Magazines and Calendars are not considered folded products. Their size refers to one page.
The available number of pages depends on the selected product and binding type. For many bound products, pages are available in multiples of 4 because the printed sheets are folded and bound, resulting in 4 pages per sheet.
Please always set up your print files as individual pages in the correct order and submit them as a multi-page PDF.

Booklet Printing: Custom Options for Your Project
Our booklets are available in a variety of formats, page counts, paper types, and binding styles. Whether you need only a few copies or larger quantities, we offer professional booklet printing with flexible configuration options, competitive prices, and reliable turnaround times.
Depending on the desired look, number of pages, and intended use, you can choose from various binding types, including saddle stitch, perfect binding, and Wire-O binding. In addition, numerous coated, matte, and uncoated paper types are available, so the finished booklet can be tailored precisely to your design, intended use, and budget.
Professional Booklets for Your Business
Booklets are particularly well-suited when you need to include more content than can fit on a flyer or a traditional folded brochure. They can be used, for example, for company information, product presentations, event materials, reports, or other multi-page content.
Using our online configurator, you can directly select the format, paper, binding, number of pages, and print run. You can then upload your print-ready files and calculate the price for your desired configuration. Both small order quantities and larger print runs are possible. We offer additional terms for resellers and trade partners.
Affordable Booklet Printing – with High Quality
Thanks to our international production network and efficient processes, we can offer competitive prices for many booklet configurations. At the same time, we focus on clean finishing, precise trimming, reliable binding, and consistent print quality.
The unit price drops significantly, especially for larger print runs. This makes our booklets ideal for both one-time projects and regularly needed corporate and marketing materials.
Which Binding Method Is Right for My Booklet?
The right binding method depends primarily on the number of pages and the intended use of the booklet.
Saddle stitch binding is particularly suitable for compact booklets with fewer pages. The pages are folded in the middle and stapled together. The process is straightforward, cost-effective, and suitable for many marketing and informational materials.
Perfect binding is ideal for more extensive booklets. The spine is glued, giving the product a look more reminiscent of a traditional book or magazine and lending it a particularly high-quality appearance.
Wire-O binding is practical for documents that are used frequently or need to lie flat. It is therefore well-suited for manuals, training materials, and working documents, among other things.
Which Type of Paper Should I Choose?
The choice of paper affects both the appearance and the feel of a booklet.
Glossy papers work well for image-heavy layouts, photos, and bold colors. Matte or dull papers reduce glare and provide a calmer, more subdued surface. Uncoated papers have a more natural look and are easy to write on after printing.
Heavier materials can be used for the covers, while lighter paper weights are often preferred for the inside pages. This allows you to achieve a high-quality result without making the booklet unnecessarily heavy or expensive.
Typical Uses for Booklets
Booklets are used wherever information needs to be presented clearly across multiple pages. These include product information and sales materials, as well as programs, company information, training materials, and reports. By varying formats, bindings, and paper types, the product can be tailored very precisely to its intended purpose.
Booklet or Brochure – What’s the Difference?
The terms “booklet” and “brochure” are often used interchangeably. In the printing industry, a booklet generally refers to a multi-page printed product with a binding, such as saddle stitching or perfect binding. Classic folded brochures, on the other hand, usually consist of a single folded sheet or a small number of folded panels.
If you want to present more extensive content in a structured way, a booklet is often the better choice. For compact advertising messages or brief product information, however, a folded brochure may be more suitable.

I liked the customer service from Noah; he helped me throughout my entire order process. I needed this expedited, and I received it within the time frame indicated by the tracking number. The only downside was not knowing in advance that I had to approve my design by 11 a.m. EST (I am in the PST time zone). Because of this, it took an additional two days for production to begin, and I needed my order as soon as possible.

My order was for booklets. The trimming (important part of the process for this product) was perfect and showed care and attention to detail. Paper stock and print colors and clarity were all as good as it gets. Turn around time was as scheduled. Shipping costs were reasonable. I have ordered here before for other products. As always, the order/file upload system worked fine and was easy to use. The automated order status feedback responses were helpful.

Decision Guide: Saddle Stitch vs. Perfect Binding
If you are deciding between saddle stitch and perfect binding, start with page count and use case. Saddle stitch is commonly used for 8-64 pages and shorter handouts. Perfect binding is typically selected from 28 pages to 200+ pages for thicker catalogs and reports.
Saddle Stitch
Typical range: 8-64 pagesBest for event programs, nonprofit handouts, and compact marketing booklets that need efficient production and distribution.
Explore Saddle Stitch
Perfect Binding
Typical range: 28-200+ pagesBest for magazines, annual reports, catalogs, and content-heavy publications that benefit from a square spine.
Explore Perfect Binding
Wire-O
Best for lay-flat useExcellent for training manuals and workbooks that need 360-degree page turning and desk-friendly handling.
Explore Wire-OHelpful tip: If your project sits in the overlap range (for example 32-64 pages), choose saddle stitch for lower cost and choose perfect binding when spine presentation is important.

Frequently Asked Questions
What file format should I upload?
We recommend uploading print-ready PDF files. Please make sure all fonts are embedded, images are high resolution, and the file includes bleed if required! Feel free to reach out to our support team if you need help preparing your files!
What is bleed and why is it important?
Bleed is the extra area around your design that extends beyond the final trim size. It helps prevent unwanted white edges after cutting. We usually recommend 3 mm bleed on all sides.
How long does production and delivery take?
Production time depends on the product, quantity, and selected options. You will see the estimated production and delivery time during the ordering process.
Can I check my artwork before printing?
Yes. At PrintSafari, we offer a professional file check. This can help identify issues such as low resolution, missing bleed, or incorrect color settings. You can select the file check in the checkout process!
Which color mode should I use?
For best print results, please use CMYK color mode. Files submitted in RGB may be converted automatically, which can slightly change the final colors.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
Changes or cancellations are usually only possible before production has started. Please contact customer service as soon as possible if you need to update your order.
How long does booklet production usually take?
Production timelines vary by binding style, quantity, and finishing selections. Exact estimates are shown during configuration and checkout.
What booklet sizes are most common?
Popular booklet sizes include letter-size formats and compact handout sizes for events and marketing. For dimension-specific setup, download our size templates in the configurator.
Smart Ways to Keep Your Booklet Printing Costs Low and Impactful!
Cost-Effective Design Techniques for Booklet Printing
- Choosing a standard booklet size helps reduce production complexity and material waste, resulting in lower costs without sacrificing quality.
- Sticking to a limited color palette can significantly reduce ink consumption, while still creating a clean, professional look for your booklets.
- Well-structured layouts make better use of space, allowing you to fit more content into fewer pages and cut down on printing expenses.
- By gathering early feedback from clients or stakeholders, you avoid costly last-minute design changes and ensure your final booklet meets expectations.
Reducing Printing Costs with Bulk Orders for Booklets
- Take advantage of our tiered pricing: bulk printing of booklets often reduces the cost per unit by 20–30% compared to smaller orders.
- Printing in larger quantities eliminates the need for repeated short runs, saving time and reducing setup costs.
- If you already have a booklet design, reusing it for future projects can significantly lower your design and production overhead.
- High-volume print jobs benefit from optimized press setups, meaning less waste and better efficiency – especially for recurring projects.
Essential Quality Control Measures for Successful Booklet Printing
- Careful proofreading ensures your booklet content is error-free, avoiding costly reprints and maintaining your brand’s credibility.
- We recommend ordering a physical proof copy before full production to check layout, colors, and print quality firsthand.
- Following your brand guidelines consistently across all booklet pages enhances trust and creates a strong visual identity.
- Stay in regular contact with our support team during production – we’ll help ensure every detail of your booklet meets your expectations.
