About Car Magnets
Custom printed Car Magnets are highly useful if you use the same car for both work and personal life, or if you manage a fleet of leased or subcontracted vehicles. They feature the following characteristics:
- They withstand sun, rain, and highway speeds without losing their grip.
- Crisp printing ensures text and phone numbers can be easily read from a distance.
- They can be applied instantly and leave no residues when removed
- Affordable pricing if you need to outfit multiple cars or vans at the same time.
- They should give you enough space to add your logo, message and contact information.
Flexible and Temporary Mobile Signage
Car Magnets let you turn daily commutes or time spent parked into visibility for your business. You can combine them with other elements, like storefront signs, to maintain a consistent brand image. Being removable, they offer freedom that permanent vinyl graphics can't match. You can use them on a van for a job, then remove them when you're not working.

Recommendations for Using Car Magnets as a Brand
Correct Measurements and Placement
- Carefully choose the size and measure the surface before ordering, make sure there are no moldings, pronounced body lines or sharp curves, they magnet should sit completely flat otherwise air could get underneath and peel it off while driving.
- Stick to the traditional straight corners or order rounded corners to prevent the wind from lifting the magnets over time, you can also order oval shapes if they’re convenient to your use case.
- Watch out for non-metallic surfaces and remember that magnets only stick to steel. Many bumpers, tailgates, or doors on modern cars are made of plastic, fiberglass, or aluminum, where a magnet will not work.
- Orientation based on space as vans usually accommodate long horizontal formats, whereas smaller car doors typically work better with a squarer or vertical layout.

Tips for Readability on the Move
- Prioritize Contrast: If your car is white, avoid light backgrounds on the magnet. Use dark lettering on clean backgrounds so it can be read in a matter of seconds.
- Bold Typography: Thin fonts disappear at a distance. Use heavy, thick lettering and avoid cluttered shadow effects.
- Direct Contact Info: Put only one main contact method. If people have to write down a long email, a complex URL, and two phone numbers while driving, they won't remember anything. A short phone number or direct website is most effective.
- Logo placement, put the logo in a prominent spot either centered or to one side but ensure it doesn't crowd out the phone number or the company’s core service.
Maintenance and Daily Use
- On-the-Job Advertising: When parked near a remodel or service call, the magnet works for you by informing neighbors in the area about your business.
- Campaign Flexibility: If you change your phone number or have a seasonal offer, you just need to order new magnets. You won’t have to visit a shop to scrape off old adhesive vinyl.
- Use in Mixed Fleets: If you use independent contractors or freelancers who drive their own vehicles, you can hand them the magnets in the morning and collect them at the end of the shift.
- When not in use, store them flat against a metal surface (like the side of a filing cabinet or shelving unit) or laid out flat on a table for protection. If stored bent or wrinkled, they can lose their shape and fail to adhere properly to the car again.
