Create Your Perfect Binding
Here you may select the desired type of binding for your calendars.
The ring binding, also called spiral or wire-O bond, is a classic and popular book binding method which is used for presentations in particular. With a metal wire, a twin spiral is formed, which runs through previously perforated sheets of paper. This is a cheap but also stable binding type. Depending on the book thickness or number of sheets, different spiral diameters are used. This enables the best possible turning over of your printed information.
Size is measured in inches (except for Banners).
Your artwork must be submitted in this size plus bleed. For more information please go to Bleed & Safe Area.
If your product includes folding, this is the size before folding.
Catalogs/Magazines and Calendars are not considered folded products. Their size refers to one page.
For catalogs and saddle stitched calendars, pages are available in multiples of 4 because sheets are folded over and bound in the middle, resulting in 4 pages per sheet.
For wire-o calendars, 13 or 14 pages are available.
One way or another, please always set up your print files as single pages and send them in multi-page PDFs.

Tips: How to Get the Most Out of Perfect Binding Catalogs
Design Elements That Capture Attention
- A picture is worth a thousand words. Use high-quality images, graphics and charts in your perfectly binding catalog to make it more visually appealing. Use visual elements to showcase your products and illustrate key points. This creates an immersive experience for your readers.
- The finish matters, too. Further enhance your perfectly binding catalog with special finishes and additional enhancements for a better look and feel when flipping through the pages. Techniques such as spot UV, foil stamping or embossing give your catalog a luxurious look and are guaranteed to impress your audience.

Structuring Content for Maximum Impact
- A consistent look page by page. Maintain visual harmony throughout the catalog with a structured page layout, consistent design elements and clear, easy-to-read typography.
- Clear structure and distinct presentation. Organize the content into a logical flow with clear navigation and consistent section breaks.
- Less is more. Choosing the perfect binding allows you to produce a catalog with a higher page count. Take advantage of this and avoid overloading the pages or compressing the content. Leave enough white space to optimize readability and visual appeal and be sure to use a typeface and font size that are easy to read.
- Down to the smallest detail. Since there’s no limit to the number of pages with this binding method, you have the opportunity to illustrate your content with detailed information, engaging images and additional diagrams.
