Create Your Textbooks
Here you may select the desired type of binding for your calendars.
The ring binding, also called spiral or wire-O bond, is a classic and popular book binding method which is used for presentations in particular. With a metal wire, a twin spiral is formed, which runs through previously perforated sheets of paper. This is a cheap but also stable binding type. Depending on the book thickness or number of sheets, different spiral diameters are used. This enables the best possible turning over of your printed information.
Size is measured in inches (except for Banners).
Your artwork must be submitted in this size plus bleed. For more information please go to Bleed & Safe Area.
If your product includes folding, this is the size before folding.
Catalogs/Magazines and Calendars are not considered folded products. Their size refers to one page.
For catalogs and saddle stitched calendars, pages are available in multiples of 4 because sheets are folded over and bound in the middle, resulting in 4 pages per sheet.
For wire-o calendars, 13 or 14 pages are available.
One way or another, please always set up your print files as single pages and send them in multi-page PDFs.

Frequently Asked Questions
What makes a good textbook?
A good textbook makes learning easier. It should be easy to read, well-organized, and strong enough for daily use. The text should be clear, images should help explain the content, and students should be able to find information quickly. When a textbook is well-made, it helps students learn better and makes teaching more effective.
What's the best binding choice for different grade levels?
For younger students, spiral binding often works best since it lays flat and is easier to handle. Middle and high school textbooks usually do better with sturdy sewn binding that can handle frequent use. For college textbooks, we suggest case binding (hardcover) for main course books and perfect binding (softcover) for supplementary materials. We'll help you pick what works best for your students.
What if I need to add digital components to our textbooks?
You can add QR codes or special sections that connect to online resources. This lets students easily access video content, interactive exercises, or updated information. We'll help you include these features in a way that makes sense for your teaching style and keeps the book user-friendly.
How long does it take to print textbooks?
Most textbooks take 1-2 weeks to print after you approve the final design. This can change based on how many books you need and what special features you want. We suggest starting early, especially if you need books ready for the new school year. This gives us time to make sure everything is just right.
