Create Your Handbooks
Here you may select the desired type of binding for your calendars.
The ring binding, also called spiral or wire-O bond, is a classic and popular book binding method which is used for presentations in particular. With a metal wire, a twin spiral is formed, which runs through previously perforated sheets of paper. This is a cheap but also stable binding type. Depending on the book thickness or number of sheets, different spiral diameters are used. This enables the best possible turning over of your printed information.
Size is measured in inches (except for Banners).
Your artwork must be submitted in this size plus bleed. For more information please go to Bleed & Safe Area.
If your product includes folding, this is the size before folding.
Catalogs/Magazines and Calendars are not considered folded products. Their size refers to one page.
For catalogs and saddle stitched calendars, pages are available in multiples of 4 because sheets are folded over and bound in the middle, resulting in 4 pages per sheet.
For wire-o calendars, 13 or 14 pages are available.
One way or another, please always set up your print files as single pages and send them in multi-page PDFs.

Frequently Asked Questions
What types of handbooks can you print?
We print all kinds of handbooks - from employee guides and training manuals to product instructions and student handbooks. Each type can be made to fit your needs, with options for different sizes, paper types, and binding styles. Think of it as creating a custom guide that works best for your specific audience and purpose.
How do I choose the right binding for my handbook?
The best binding depends on how your handbook will be used. Spiral binding works well for handbooks that need to lay flat, perfect for training materials or reference guides. Stapled binding is good for shorter handbooks, while perfect binding (like a paperback book) works well for longer guides. We can help you pick the right option based on your handbook's size and how people will use it.
What's the typical turnaround time for handbook printing?
Most handbooks take 1-2 weeks to print after you approve the final design. This can change based on things like special features, number of copies, and binding type. It's best to plan ahead and start early, giving you time to review and make any needed changes.
What's the minimum order for handbooks?
We can print as little as one copy of your handbook. This flexibility lets you test your design or get exactly the amount you need. While ordering larger quantities often reduces the cost per book, we understand that sometimes you only need a few copies. We'll help you figure out the most cost-effective quantity based on your specific needs and budget.
