Catalogs/Magazines and Calendars are not considered folded products. Their size refers to one page.
Each paper we offer is a good choice for the product. You often have the option between lighter and heavier papers. Papers also come with different coatings.

The ring binding, also called spiral or wire-O bond, is a classic and popular book binding method which is used for presentations in particular. With a metal wire, a twin spiral is formed, which runs through previously perforated sheets of paper. This is a cheap but also stable binding type. Depending on the book thickness or number of sheets, different spiral diameters are used. This enables the best possible turning over of your printed information.
For catalogs and saddle stitched calendars, pages are available in multiples of 4 because sheets are folded over and bound in the middle, resulting in 4 pages per sheet.
For wire-o calendars, 13 or 14 pages are available.
One way or another, please always set up your print files as single pages and send them in multi-page PDFs.
You can use a thicker paper stock for the cover sheet (front cover and back cover).
4/1 = Full color on front, B/W on the back.
4/4 = Full color on both sides.
1/0 = B/W on front, blank back.
0/0 = Blank

While I wish the website were a little easier to use (lots of confusing options in lots of drop down menus), I can't fault the service, speed, or price. They say you can't get good, fast, and cheap, but PrintSafari delivered all three. The trading cards I ordered were perfect and I can't imagine how they could be any better. I'll definitely be ordering from PrintSafari again.

I had ordered custom trading cards before from a different printer, but wanted to give PrintSafari a try since the prices were significantly better. I am happy to report that the quality of the cards was every bit as good as the other vendor and the speed of delivery was also exceptional. I will definitely use PrintSafari in the future. The one issue I had was with the cropping of my uploaded images. I used the same layout/files that I had used previously with the different vendor in which I assumed I had the correct bleed area defined, etc. however when I got the cards from PrintSafari, they were cropped much closer to the artwork than I had expected. The cards are still usable, but I will need to adjust the safe zone before my next order. If there was a way for me to see or preview the card, or if Printsafari could provide pixel and size guidelines that would definitely help. I am not a designer by trade, so it's a bit of a guessing game for me. Thanks, though - the cards are great!"
