Create Your Cookbooks

Here you may select the desired type of binding for your calendars.

The ring binding, also called spiral or wire-O bond, is a classic and popular book binding method which is used for presentations in particular. With a metal wire, a twin spiral is formed, which runs through previously perforated sheets of paper. This is a cheap but also stable binding type. Depending on the book thickness or number of sheets, different spiral diameters are used. This enables the best possible turning over of your printed information.

Size is measured in inches (except for Banners).

Your artwork must be submitted in this size plus bleed. For more information please go to Bleed & Safe Area.

If your product includes folding, this is the size before folding.

Catalogs/Magazines and Calendars are not considered folded products. Their size refers to one page.

For catalogs and saddle stitched calendars, pages are available in multiples of 4 because sheets are folded over and bound in the middle, resulting in 4 pages per sheet.

For wire-o calendars, 13 or 14 pages are available.

One way or another, please always set up your print files as single pages and send them in multi-page PDFs.

    Your Service Options

    Automated File Check (Free):

When you upload your files, an application checks them for document size, color mode, and resolution.

Error detection, however, is not guaranteed. If you choose this option, we do not take any responsibility for misprints due to incorrect files.

Non-CMYK color modes will automatically be converted to CMYK, which may lead to slight color deviations.

      Manual File Review ($9.90):

If you choose this option, one of our experts will review your file and inform you about any errors or risks. Minor issues that can be corrected within a reasonable timeframe will be fixed immediately. If everything is correct or only a small adjustment is needed, we will release your file for production right away.

In case we make visible changes to your print file, you will receive an online proof, giving you the opportunity to review the updated file and approve any changes we have made.

If your file contains significant issues that prevent us from printing, we will inform you and ask you to upload new, corrected files.

You may decline the online proof of your adjusted print files once and reupload new files, which our graphics department will review again. However, any additional online proof or file upload requires the purchase of another Manual File Review ($9.90).

Please note: Your turnaround time begins only after your print-ready files have been submitted and approved.

      Layout Service (starting at $39.90):

We can create print-ready files for you, following your basic instructions. Any artwork you deliver must be of printable quality. You will be able to review your file and ask for improvements twice.

This service also covers correction services that exceed the time allocation of the Manual File Review option.

For more information please go to Print File Services.

You are always welcome to contact us per Live-Chat or e-mail.

    About Cookbooks

Cookbooks are collections of recipes, techniques, and culinary tips designed to guide both amateur and professional chefs in preparing meals. They often include step-by-step instructions, ingredient lists, and photos, making it easy to follow along. Cookbooks serve as valuable resources for exploring new cuisines, mastering cooking skills, or preserving family traditions. Whether for personal use or as a gift, they capture the joy of cooking and the art of creating delicious dishes. Much like comic books, cookbooks blend content and visuals to tell a compelling story — only this time, it's about food.

    Affordable Cookbook Printing Tips

    Tips for Affordable Cookbook Printing

    • Choose the Right Binding: We recommend opting for cost-effective binding options like saddle stitch or perfect binding. These methods not only reduce printing costs but also provide a professional look that will impress your customers.
    • Utilize Digital Printing: Our digital printing services allow for shorter runs, making it an affordable option for small batches of cookbooks. This flexibility means you can print exactly what you need without overspending on inventory.
    • Select Standard Sizes: To help keep your project within budget, we suggest sticking to standard sizes. Custom sizes may require additional setup and materials, increasing overall costs.
    • Include More Recipes: By sharing more recipes in your cookbook, you can lower the cost per unit. This makes it more economical to print larger quantities, allowing you to reach a wider audience without breaking the bank.
