Your uploaded files will be saved even if you don't confirm all uploads, i.e. you can come back later and upload new files. Once you confirmed, your order will go into preflight, and unless you ordered a proof you will not be able to change your files.
You can leave a comment with each file. Comments will be saved only if you confirm all uploads.
Files that do not have the correct dimensions (including bleed) will be rejected. You can download file templates with correct dimensions to help you set up your files.
