To make a letterhead on google Docs, begin with a new document, open Google Docs, and select Blank. To access the files header area, select the Insert option and pick Header. To add your business logo or graphic to the letterhead, pick image from the Insert box.

You have the option of uploading from your PC, a URL, or Google Drive. After you've chosen your picture, it will show in the file’s header section.

Now choose the image to adjust it, ensuring sure it fits inside the paper's margins. You may now provide information about your firm, such as its name, contact details, and address. Your letterhead design might also contain a footer.

Can you make your custom letterhead? Yes.

1. Start your "Word" or "Docs"

To create your letterhead templates, start Microsoft Word or Google docs. They include all of the tools you'll create an excellent template. It would be simple to duplicate your design components for your personalized letterhead.

2. Create a template

Create a new Template and save it as a Word file, then save it to your templates folder with any name such as letterhead template 1" or something similar that will help you find it easier.

Insert a Header

You'll be able to open the document and print your letterhead whenever you want. Insert a header by selecting "Insert" and then "Header." Make a new header that will function as your letterhead's canvas.

Enter your company and contact information

Enter the wording for your letterhead. In the text field, enter the firm name, address, contact information, fax number, website, and basic inquiry email address for your letterhead.

Use the contact details you wish to put on a personalized letterhead. Include your logo in the header. On the Insert tab, select "Picture." Navigate to your logo's digital version, choose the.jpg,.bmp, or.png file, and click the Add button.

Change and adjust the size and location of your logo. It should be easily visible and proportionate to the words on your letterhead. Consider including additional graphic components.

For example, you might divide your data about the company from the remainder of the page by putting a clear line at the bottom of the header from the left border to the right. You might also use color to reflect your firm or your style. Think about putting your tagline in the footer.

Equalize the Header and save the template

You may equalize the header by inserting information at the bottom, such as your tagline, contact information, or logo. Examine your letterhead. To close the Header and Footer panels, press the Esc key. Full-screen your letterhead or print a copy for inspection. Save your letterhead to your computer.

Open a document and work with it

Open the letterhead document and click when generating a new document on this letterhead and select "Save as" under the Office Windows logo icon.

Which paper is used for custom letterhead printing?

The letter paper used for printing letterhead is thicker and more high-quality paper than regular copier paper. Letterhead should be at least 100gsm, but ordinary copier paper is 80gsm. Letterhead must be uncoated, whereas brochures, as well as other sales materials, are usually printed on glossy paper. The most frequent paper type used for letterhead printing is cream-woven paper. Also, your favorite letter head printer PrintSafari uses it. It's made out of recycled paper stock. Although it is reused paper, its quality has not been compromised. Cream woven is the most cost-effective alternative for people who wish to print letterhead in bulk.
